Fluke Fishing Report 06/08/17

We hunted around the point at Montauk on yesterday’s trip. Water temps are still not quite where they should be by this time of year and wind against tide didn’t make for optimal drifting. We were however able to get a slow steady pick of quality fish with an equal number of shorts mixed in as well.

A few black sea bass were also caught and released. Black Sea Bass season opens in NY waters on June 27th, so now is the time to book your 9 hour multi species trips for July, August, and September.
